We have been told it's mass attracting mass. Or the fabric of spacetime bent by mass. Or buoyancy and density.
But what's really happening when we drop the apple?
It falls at 9.8m/s².
Each and every time.
The feather and the bowling ball in a vacuum — same rate.
What is 9.8 actually saying?
Cosmorphiology points:
It's accelerating toward mismatch resolution — proportional to the mismatch gap.
Balloon at the bottom of the ocean.
Helium balloon on the floor.
Rock on pond water.
Apple from the tree.
